The 13th episode of the MITSUcast by DJ producer MSKD is here! He was part of the first MITSU2000 release last year, so we're happy to welcome him back on our label. His name is not a secret to anyone who has been actively following the scene lately. MSKD's rave remixes of 90s Eurodance classics became hits and his releases on well-known underground labels such as Union Trance Mission or Recollection Records paved their way into many DJ sets and playlists. Recently he began to incorporate elements of trance music into his productions, thus creating a sound which he fully embraces in the podcast that he recorded for us. Episode27 of the Khazad Podcast is a special vinyl mix hosted by DJ GFA.

DJ GFA aka Callum Rocks is a 20 year old from Belfast, currently based in Manchester. He has been collecting records from the age of 16 with hard house and trance being his fundamental introduction to dance music, enjoying their high energy which often captures the hearts of ravers.

For this mix, GFA has delved into his collection of hard-groove records focussing on the sounds of the early 2000s which blend well with his oldskool techno style of playing. 

Although this mix veers slightly away from the typical mixes that make up the Khazad Podcast series, it's high energy and expertly crafted mixes meant it was one we could not ignore as it looks back to a golden period of grooving techno we love at Khazad.

Khazad Records is the brainchild of label chief Balrog. 

The concept of the label was born out of a desire to release hard, industrial, and grooving techno, while also providing a platform for the best young producers to showcase their talent. In doing so, this will hopefully enable the further development of this style of industrial enthused grooving techno.

Khazad Records is a wholly inclusive collective. For this reason, every attempt will be made to ensure an even as possible gender balance of artists. In doing so we hope to address the gender imbalances that are still ever-present within the techno scene. 

As well as showcase the hottest talent in the scene right now, the label will also hope to unearth the future stars of the scene through a fully open demo policy:

- All demos will be listened too but must be sent to our email, this may mean that it takes some time for us to respond but rest assured we will get back to you and make every attempt to offer constructive advice if the demo does not suit the label.
- Tracks DO NOT need to be mastered before sending, we are looking for raw talent not the final product.
