Music was always Part of Spork's life which started at a young age and used to listen to rock music. In 2013 he was introduced to the Maltese underground techno scene and it was love at first sight. From that day the passion grew stronger Learning, acquiring different skills and knowledge about the art. Hard work passion and determination were key ingredients to start playing at local underground parties and after parties. People started to get intrigued by this artist especially the style of techno that he plays, which varies from dark, percussive, ambient, atmospheric, hypnotic techno to more groovy dubtechno.
In early 2016 the debut club gig occurred in a well renowned Maltese club called the playground and in June 2016 he played for the first time in Malta's techno temple Liquid club, other gigs followed and played warm up sets for French artist AWB and many more.
Continuing to refine his craft in late 2016 Spork started to research in depth the art of music production by mixing the two styles that he most like tries to find the best balance between them the character and character of the hypnotic and ambient techno enhanced by the dub bass line and percussions. In 2018 his first debut track was released in a VA on the label Systolic and hes part of the booking list of the same label.

He comes from a background of photography which lead him to places that embodied deep mysticism amongst dark, bleak and cold landscapes. Those visual remnants have now become the fuel that makes Commodus of Rome.

kfpnyx 028 kommt von vanta, gründungsmitglied der pvc crew aus leipzig. er zieht uns mit diesem zweistündigen mitschnitt gedanklich zurück in den bann verschiedener dunkler tanzflächen, die wir seit geraumer zeit leider nur noch in unseren erinnerungen abbilden. sein impulsiv-hypnotischer stil gestaltet den verlauf der aufnahme und lässt die spannungskurve nicht abreißen.

kfpnyx 028 is being delivered by @vanta_techno, a founding member of the @kollektiv-pvc from leipzig. with this two-hour recording, he mentally pulls us back under the spell of various dark dance floors, which we have unfortunately only shown in our memories for some time. surrounded by his impulsive-hypnotic style, he creates a dynamic alternation of bulging and dropping atmospheres.

the kfpnyx mix series includes many sub kinds of electronic music, especially rough and melodic techno, house, electro, breakbeat and ambient. for this purpose we want to involve our residents, friends of the crew and selected guests.

Underground DJ/Producer exploring the murky visceral grooves of deep atmospheric techno.

Khonsu's approach to DJing is all about taking the audience on a journey. He believes in the power of narrative, allowing the energy of the dance floor to guide the experience. 

Hailing from Belgium, Khonsu's music is a blend of dreamy depths and dubby resonance, blurring the lines between deep techno and house. His sound provides a soothing escape for the mind, body, and soul. Having started his musical journey in his hometown of Ghent, Khonsu quickly became a local favorite, playing at the city's renowned clubs and hosting his own nights. A brief stint working for the esteemed Dutch label Delsin Records in Amsterdam further enriched his artistic path.

Now back in Belgium, Khonsu is embarking on a new chapter in his career. His music has resonated beyond borders, with recent performances at venues like Chalet Club and KaterBlau in techno capital Berlin, Switch Pocket Club in Barcelona, and a notable appearance at the legendary Belgian institution Fuse in Brussels.

Khonsu's sets invite listeners to immerse themselves in a transformative experience, where music becomes a vessel for transcendence. Get ready to be taken on a journey!
