DJ Koze unveils a spiritual and surprising journey into rapturous spheres with `Wespennest EP´. The visionary artist and master of electronic sound, presents his first own release after 2018's global club hit `Pick Up´.

`Candidasa´ and `Wespennest´ are the result of DJ Kozes inspiring stay in a secluded Benedictine monastery on the enchanting island of Sulawesi. Amidst this idyllic setting, he found the perfect environment to unleash his musical vision. He composed all of the music of `Candidasa´ while lying on his stomach, in an act of deepest devotion and self-reflection. In doing so, he fed exclusively on so-called heroin kebabs to immerse himself in a trance-like state of creative flow. The result is a soundscape of unimagined depth and beauty that enchants the senses and transports listeners to another dimension by massively increasing the frequency of flicker fusion.

On `Wespennest´ the wonderful Sophia Kennedy takes the stage and breathes a new dimension into the music with her impactful lyrics and vocals. With generous dedication, Sophia has provided exclusive excerpts of her yet unreleased songs, giving this track a radiant psychedelic power. The combination of DJ Kozes musical genius and Sophia Kennedy's glorious vocals creates a club track full of wonderment, opening up a mystical rapturous world for listeners. Already an instant classic of German dance music. 

With `Candidasa´ and `Wespennest´ DJ Koze has once again pushed the boundaries of electronic sounds and created a spiritual journey that touches the soul and frees the mind. The first EP on the label newly founded by Patrik Schifferle aka. Shiffer comes from him and the German songwriter Paul Brenning. The work on these collaborations spanned over two years and perfectly demonstrates what the new label stands for, namely togetherness and creativity. Starting with the drum loops and chords by Shiffer, and continuing with the beautiful lyrics by Paul, the tracks were written by the two of them together over a period of months. The result is the "Stranded EP", a melancholic and warm mini-LP with cinematic vocals and deep grooves. The record is rounded off with a timeless remix from Mano Le Tough.

Scandinavian producers Sebastian Jak and Alexander Fahlberg, short Sebjak and Fahlberg, team up again to deliver one of ADE's most talked about tunes, '4Ever She May Live', that comes in a DJ Koze Edit and has been played out by various luminaries. After EPs on Jonas Rathmann's Element Series, Sebjak's own label Bibliotheque Records or MoBlack Records, the Stockholm based producers return to the latter bringing Hamburg's finest DJ Koze along who turns the original take into an almost nine minute lasting journey by implementing filters to emphasize the raw euphoric club experience. The extraordinary producer who basically turns or can adjust any given track to a catchy musical piece again shows his musical genius stretching the basic melodic loop to an audible unmistakable maximum, or just the right amount of bars to give the vocal its moments to unfold in-between. After his rework of Gerry Read's 'It'll All Be Over', which was a summer's festival season favorite, on Pampa, DJ Koze now comes in with a more raw, more dark but equally danceable tune for the autumn/ winter run.
