Everything changes so fast

Buenos Aires producer Adrian Hour returns to Coyu's Suara Music with the twelfth edition of the label's 'Techno Tools' series this May. To date the Argentinian has appeared numerous times in the series alongside artists like Boris and Jewel Kid, such his quality that he's welcomed back into the fold with open arms and he brings with him four standout club-oriented weapons.

'Avalon' is a funk-fill bomb with an all-consuming low end element, while 'Happening' is a darker, moodier affair surrounded with an eery, tense atmosphere. As for 'Connected', it's a dreary and hypnotic production. 'Markers' closes out the release with a relentless energy and a awesome rise to the climax. The release, which follows up a dynamite EP on Toolroom Trax and a remix opportunity on German imprint SNOE, marks another big step in the development of Hour, who's grown from an unknown youngster to a mainstay in the techno scene. Premiere: Adrian Hour - Connected [Suara]

Kellerkind steps up to the plate with Subzero, a slice of cavernous dub tech. Breathy vocals and sparse ethereal elements set a dreamy mood. Underlined by smooth piano chords, the vocal develops into a full fledged hymn that is both emotive and mesmerising. For his second take, the Swiss producer embarks on a techno tinged journey. Opting for distorted synths and a stomping bassline, he aptly crafts a near dungeon-like atmosphere only sweetened by a lush female vocal. Teaming up with Sven, they offer up Shakti Pan, a meeting point between tribal infused percussion and deep-set riffs. Hollowed out drums and bells chimes touch on chorus vocals and manage to create a highly immersive experience, rounding off the release on an uplifting note.
