Falling stars

Hey, it’s me again. I just uploaded a new piece – something quiet, something gentle.

This piece was written and recorded in my small studio in Berlin,
on my felted Bechstein piano.

It’s a quiet track – not slow, just gentle.
There’s a kind of weightlessness in it
that reminded me of how things felt
before we started calling them memories.

The title came early. Letters of Lightness.
I didn’t imagine them written down.
More like: moments you carry without knowing.
Not written, but felt.

Today marks the arrival of the first glimpse into "Letters to a Summer Past", the upcoming album by beloved German pianist and composer Mats Raynard, releasing this August on ad21.

This new piece "Warm Rain (pure version) is a beautifully melancholic piano composition. Calm and intimate, it invites the listener into a quiet world of memory, warmth and emotional depth.
