Hello I’m Bōto(aka Thijs boot), I’m a Dutch guy, with a Japanese influenced name. 

This because the Japanese culture inspired me to be the man I am today. It’s something that has made me see the power of calmness. 
I have a deep love for listening to music in general, loads of different genres like Hip Hop, R&B, Reggae, blues and also jazz. That’s something I have from my dad and from how I’ve seen him enjoy music to this day.

This calmness I use in my day to day life, I like to bring back in my sound, by really letting the tracks I mix speak their own unique story.

What is my sound?
Slow and calm tempo with a very deep connection through the beats. The word I like to use when people ask me what kind of techno I play is Groove, because the groove is what takes over your body and makes you dance.
