After hearing it we both went back listened to this song again and downloaded his mixtape "Unknown Murderer". 7ThaGreat has real life in his music and people can relate. He is doing what he loves to do and not trying to keep up with what is new or hot at the time. He is a good genuine person, you can hear the pain and grind in his music. They say when you get comfortable someone will come get your spot, well to all artist near and far from Dallas don't get comfortable cause 7ThaGreat is coming!! Sidenote: When Remedy and I agreed to do this remix, we knew it would be tough. The original is a classic, which can present a problem for 2 producers that are tasked with remixing it. The question was... Do we go in a completely different direction from the original, or do we just stay faithful to the original and do a version of it with our own twists, drums, edits and what not. Ultimately, we chose to keep it simple and go for a tribute to the original as opposed to a total flip. Anyhow, I stand by our decision. Personally, I really like this remix a lot and it has been going off really well at my shows. Much love to Zomboy for having us remix this one.
