Time Capsules is a series of mixes created to remember why I started. When I started, I used to make tapes (that is right, tapes) on my Mom's old boombox. I made them because I loved having new music to listen to. Everyday. This was before your soundcloud/mixcloud/apple music/spotify. You actually had to OWN the music in some form or fashion. The mixes I created back then would take me back to the time I had made them. What was going on in my life? How did I feel when creating it? Some were extremely less than perfect, but I didn't care(though, my sister Ruby still has a tape from back then that I hope to set on fire one day). I loved the records I was buying and I loved being able to listen to the records my brother Rene had given me. 

Ive gotten back to this idea, and this is only the first chapter. Remembering why I started has been quite the fire starter for me lately. I intend to continue to do this until my life is taken from me, and I hope that isn't for a very long time from now. We never know when our time will come, so cherish the time you have.
