Near the tail end of 2022, Colorado-based @motifvmusic and @late-night-radio hit the studio together in a collaborative exploration of mutual inspiration, crafting a number of tracks - the first of which, “Hold On”, is streaming now on all platforms.

For most any listener, the shared influences of gospel, soul, and hip-hop progressions are immediately apparent in the artists’ collaborations. Described by Late Night Radio and Motifv as a “track that makes you want to hug yourself,  “Hold On” serves as a hopeful, meditative reprise for the listener, a time to reflect and find solace in our fortitude when life is overcast and rumbles of thunder resound in our minds.

This is an 18-track compilation that is the first from the electronic-bass fueled label Grand Alliance Music. It's name is NUMINOUS which indicates the presence of divinity. It's meaning is one that is appealing to the higher emotions or to the aesthetic senses. The psychological phenomenon of a suddenly appearing, extremely enigmatic, and at the same time fascinating state in which one feels influenced by higher powers. 

For us, the presence of a higher power is a connection through music, which allows a deeper and more substantial way to express ourselves even on a subconscious level. Often, connection through language may only take us so far but the ways we can relate and connect through music allows us to transcend those boundaries. In our best efforts we have found artists and songs that deeply communicate these vibes. Deep, impactful (and dope) music to its fullest extent. From favorites on our fresh label, to connections and friends we've made over the years, as well as new unveilings and debuts, we could not be any more stoked to be presenting you this GRAND debut; our first compilation. I've got to be one of the luckiest people alive. Not just because of streaming services (though let's be honest, they're lifesavers), but because I've hit the jackpot with my family. My kids? There's this thing my son and I do when the rain starts drumming against the windows.
