Search and Resistance in "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)"
In Eurythmics' "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)," the striking repetition of "Everybody's looking for something" highlights a universal search for satisfaction, but also highlights the frustration of desires that always seem unattainable.
