Born and bred in Lotherton Community (also known as The Village), Toronto. Raised as a pastor's son in a Pentecostal church; Travis Knight has been forged amongst music.

﻿Music has always been a part of his survival toolkit and a belief that there are forces at work that are so much bigger than us. Whatever name you choose to give that force—Travis believes that we are part of it, on a continuum. All of it combined, comes out of the Black experience, the necessity to figure out ways to be free.
