For the 56th episode of the BPitch Podcast, we are excited to welcome Carmen Electro.

Originally from Finland, Carmen Electro grew up on the dance floors of London and Berlin, both of which deeply shaped her sound as an artist and informed the raw energy and sense of connection she brings to every DJ set. While her record collection spans many genres, it is techno that speaks to her most in a club setting - a sound that lets her tap into something primal and invites the audience to do the same. Her sets pay tribute to multiple decades of techno and dance music as a whole, moving between hypnotic, tribal, and driving cuts designed to ignite that moment where body and soul move as one.

"Having recently played my first RSO closing for Ellen’s We Are Not Alone party, I’m happy to share some records via this mix that went down that night. I planned this 1hr to pay homage to the kind of techno that moves in between driving and sleazy, something that I find myself returning to again and again, in the search of timeless, pounding club music. I wanted to highlight some of the artists whose music I’ve been a huge fan of, both historically and more recently. Find Louis the 4th, Klint, Sev Dah, Marco Bailey and Delano Legito amongst other legends on the playlist."
