For a limited time only, stream this heavy chunk of dance floor Funk in all its glory!!! Released as a limited-edition, hand numbered 45 on  Bandoni Music in 2016, this sold out in weeks and has not been repressed. Mike wrote this (co produced by Nino Auricchio) and played all of the instruments several years back but revisited the idea in early 2016 to add percussion and write leading horn lines. the Horn parts that have been played and recorded with vigour by the Easy Access Orchestra (also on Purification parts 1&2). This really did complete the piece and so Mike decided to release it on his own imprint as a limited edition vinyl single. like all heavy Funk tracks, it comes in 2 parts. 

A taster clip of part one can be found amongst the tracks here on soundcloud. Heavy, groove-centred drums and percussion, pumping bass, furious horns, infections clavinet lines and that all favourite classic wah guitar are all part of the ride on this track. A nod back to the earlier records from Funkshone and heavily inspired by 70's blaxploitation soundtracks by the likes of Quincy Jones and Lalo Schiffrin amongst others , this track will keep them moving on the dance floor and of course has a nice, solid, clear drum break. Very few Funkshone records don't have a drum break, right?

DJ Kid Stretch has started his musical journey as a DJ in 1997. His musical influences are mostly hip hop, funk, disco and soul music, so you can expect those kind of music in his DJ sets, along with some funky dancefloor breaks, bboy anthems, b-more and mash up remixes.

In 1998 he participates in the Greek DMC (DJ Competition) and takes the 2nd place. But 2 years later, in 2000, he returns to take the 1st place and he represents Greece in the World DMC in the Millennium Dome in London.

He is the producer and DJ of the Greek group hip hop Warriorz (going back since 1998). Warriorz have released songs in 2 compilations albums of F.M. Records, a CD single in F.M. Records and their album "Way Of Life" in their own Warriorz Records. They have also released a project called "Hippofunkochoerus" with a live funk band (Nasa Funk), (a mixture of funk with hip hop lyrics and scratching).

In 2007, he participates in the Battle Of The Year World 2007 Soundtrack with the song "Live For The Funk, Die For The Funk".

Also, in 2008, "Beat Goes On" a funky discodance floortrack makes it to the Battle Of The Year 2008 China Soundtrack and later that year, "On & On" is featured in theBattle Of The Year World 2008 Soundtrack.

In March of 2009 he releases the EP "Pushin" on Goodgroove Records, which hits No 1 on breakbeat & dance charts, getting very good feedback from DJ and producers worldwide and becomes a bboy favourite tune. Also the b-side track “Get Away” is still a classic tune, making it to many DJ playlists as well as in DJ compilations among other classic dance tunes.

He is also the half of "Pale The Kid" (along with DJ Pale Penguin).
