The second track "Lake Effect" is a reflection of the waters of Lake Michigan. Trying to make personal music without giving recognition to the beauty of the great lakes region is impossible to me. But just like the lake itself, its unpredictable but mostly mellow layered with interjecting breaks samples over a 4x4 groove that tends to skip over itself at times."

It incorporates the sleek and cool sounds of minimal tech stabs while competing for attention against the high energy of break samples. You even hear bits of a George Marsh interview in which he talks about his upbringing with playing the drums.
