"As Typeless steps into its fourth release, label head Aloka turns eyes and ears to the horizon with a shapeshifting drop of breakbeat, electro and ambient. Fusing together textural arrangements and genre hybrids, he sets his sights on
experimentation with ‘Inta’.

The opening track ‘Inta’ moves with a dreamy, indirect gaze and wistful melodies as though sighing itself into existence. Amongst it all sits a subtle beat which carries it into the dancefloor realm, yet it’s when they apex together that its weight blooms from the core.

Sideral is the debut 12'' of Talaboman, the super-duo of Hivern Discs' John Talabot and Studio Barnhus' Axel Boman. The record is released as a joint venture between the labels and comes with a slow-burning remix by Köln-based producer Matt Karmil to accompany the boombastic original version, which was also featured on John Talabot's much praised entry in the DJ-Kicks mix series last year.

This record is dedicated to the legendary dj Aleix “Sideral” Vergés, who ruled over Barcelona's underground discotecas during the turn of the millennium and sadly passed away in 2006. A truly fearless and idiosyncratic dj, Sideral mixed genres wildly and brilliantly, uniting in the dance people from all kinds of musical backgrounds. At a time when few djs dared cross musical borders, he was a real inspiration for both the Barcelona native Talabot and the young Swede Boman, who lived in the city during the peak of Sideral's reign.

He Is The Voice I Hear’ is my first all new work since “Lady Of Sorrows.” It’s been a long journey from there to here. I’m so thrilled to continue the story and finally realize my dream of bringing together an ensemble of live musicians.

This record was a joy to create with my engineering and production partner, Rupert Murray, Davide Rossi on strings and Christoforo LaBarbera on keys. The vinyl was mastered and cut by Tim Xavier for Manmade Mastering.  We’ve also put some special touches into the design of the record itself. 

Incredible thanks to Adam Rowe, Andrew Gordon, Jake Nelson and everyone that helped make this record possible at all.

Fort Romeau's Cin Cin Records continues to go from strength-to-strength and for the label's 8th release the label has laid on a divine doubleheader from Melbourne's STATUE and Ara Koufax, and we're really excited to premiering Koufax's 'Natural States'.

Australian duo Ara Koufax (Luke Neher & Sam Gill) have been making club-facing house since 2014, introducing their new project with 'Brenda', which appeared on the Cut Copy-curated compilation 'Oceans Apart'.

The Australian duo are back with two new tracks on Fort Romeau's Cin Cin Records.

 'Natural States' is a playful cut of psychedelic acid house, which features a smorgasbord of jittery stabs, thickly set kicks and plenty of gloopy basslines for you to really get lost in.

"When we were making ‘Natural States’, we kept laughing and asking each other “Is this a bit much?” and head-banging while recording all the parts. It’s a loving tribute to the intersection of Serious Club Music and the deliberately obnoxious," explains the duo to DJ Mag via email.
