A. Formerly a Chicago resident for the past decade, I would travel to NYC once or twice a year to attend / play shows. I finally moved here a few weeks ago and am excited to be a regular part of the scene and community (& contribute to the iconic Juanita’s mix series!)

We paired Sold's mix with a work by Frank Bowling titled “Head”. Bowling’s work in abstract expressionism and color field painting resemble a similar mastery in handling and composing dramatic saturation using raw form.
