Our Free Music Monday today comes from Brighton born and raised, Louis Mattrs, who first came to light in June 2013 with a mixtape surfacing on Youtube which caught the attention of Chase and Status. Together they collaborated on the single ‘Lost & Not Found’, propelling Louis into the living rooms of the masses and onto the stages of Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds and his first ever gig was Radio 1’s Big Weekend. Since then he has collaborated with Paul Epworth, Catching Flies, Elli Ingram and Piff Gang and released his critically acclaimed 'Beachy Head EP'  accompanied by the haunting video for 'War With Heaven' which sparked a wave of interest across the pond resulting in Meek Mill sampling Louis on his new album ‘Dreams Worth More Than Money’. In the run up to Louis's new single featuring hotly tipped US rapper Lucki Eck$, he has given us this track to give to you today! Enjoy..

It's been a while since we've put out some music huh? Well we apologize for that. We've been growing at such a fast rate and we had to put our focus on to other avenues within Soulection to make this the best platform possible for many years to come. 

With that said, we are sooooo excited to bring your attention to a new artist who you most likely have never heard of (that's about to change) from Wales, UK. We were put on to this talented individual by our friend @helios5th when we first traveled to London back in May. Something about PYRMD's sound just captured us instantly. It's very unique and his melodies just capture your mind like your favorite incense.

PYRMDPLAZA is currently attending the University of Wales and is studying 'Creative Sound and Music'. He uses Ableton but started off with FLStudio. PYRMD started making music about 6-7 years ago and created privately for many years until the beginning of this year when he realized that he wanted to showcase his music. He definitely made the right choice otherwise we wouldn't be here at this very moment. Goes to show you how important social media is and how simply hitting "upload" can change your whole life by connecting with the world.
