We're kicking off 2017 in style with another monstrous collaboration between two members of the Cinematique family. This time Norwegian Anders. found his musical counterpart in the Russian artist named Hells Kitchen.

We've seen Anders. making quite some appearances recently on our label but we are very thrilled as well with the return of Hells Kitchen. It's been a while since we've seen him on Cinematique so it was about the right time for his come back. And what a worthy return it is! 

The epic title track of this EP comes in two versions, a vocal one featuring Pish and a dub version. Both versions will make an impression without a doubt! In between you can find two more melodic techno master pieces 'Apex' and 'Gamma' plus a beautiful off beat tune called 'Station'. It's going to be another beautiful year!

was playing around on the JD-800 and found some of the spacey sounds reminded me of this tune by JS Bach. I spent very little time on this, just decided to play around with a midi file I've had knocking around. 
This was a couple of hours venting and is a reflection of my mood: hurt, disappointment, rejection, anger and depression.  I'll be fine, but I felt there was a value to venting and capturing these emotions in music :)
FWIW I was inspired by Virgil Fox's epic and moving performance on the world's largest fully functional organ, the Wanamaker Organ in Macy's department store, Philadelphia. Really worth checking out. This is a lot faster, but it was a judgement call. 
Synths used Korg N5EX, Roland JD-800 and at the last minute I decided to add some extra ethereal voice to the top melody line with the Korg M3
