For Example, John, is a well-established, and truly qualified veteran that has been crafting his production since 2013.
8 years later, we are proud to host his most recent piece of art.
 Following previous releases on labels; most recently Broken Core, as well as Fractal, TFA, Tuffshot Audio, + many others. For Example, John has been working hard to present us with his latest piece.

"Thousand Yard Stare starts off as a fusion of (so-called) ''IDM'' over the top of that halftime-y pattern, breaking into choppy Drumfunk, getting all acid psychedelia about it, before coming full circle. An a thousand yard stare is that detached, dissociated gaze people who've been through shit sometimes have. This tune was done during testing times, I guess it's about creating enough peace to rest and then push forward. It was the only tune I wrote from start to finish for this EP and that is somewhat reflected in the tune itself, relative to the other 2, I think. I dunno, its all just tunes really. All 3 were written during times of positive, if not exhausting, change."
