Emileigh Rohn is a recording artist/producer/vocalist from Ann Arbor, MI.  She has been creating music for over 20 years, most often as her solo project, Chiasm, but is known to collaborate with others frequently.  Her primary musical instrument is the piano/synths, but is fluent in sequencing/arrangement and often uses layered vocals as their own instrumentation.  Her most current releases include her fifth full-length solo album, Chiasm - "Reset", followed by a collaborative album with John Fryer, "Missed The Noise", and several albums as the project "Rohn-Lederman" all released on COP International records: copinternational.bandcamp.com

Hanin Elias, the infamous riot-grrrl and digital hardcore trendsetter returns after hiatus with the new album “Get it Back.” The long-awaited and much anticipated album is a bridge between Elias’ familiar digital hardcore style and her newfound explorations in other genres. “Get it Back” carries a richer genre diversity than previous releases. This is largely due to a unique variety of collaborators including the Berlin-based electro hip-hop group Mutfak, Marcel Degaz, Chilean industrial artist Vigilante, Velvet Underwear’s Yeti Popstar, Mismerizer, Sindaddy, Tying Tiffany, and the Tahitian band Tikahiri.

Elias’s departure from the music industry led her to French Polynesia on a small island in the South Pacific. There, she made new contacts, including Diego Sagredo of ICI who invited her to play live shows again. This relocation has since expanded her impressive list of collaborators with a more global inclusion. Hanin Elias’ 2011 comeback is a strong one that not only reassures her place in industrial music history, but sets her apart from conventional examples with world-wide contributions that stretch  across Europe to South America.

Mostly known as the front-woman for Berlin’s definitive example of the digital hardcore movement, Atari Teenage Riot, as well as solo-releases under Digital Hardcore Recordings, Elias became a cult icon favored amongst artists like Kathleen Hanna, who cites her as inspiration. She is also known for establishing Fatal Recordings, which increased female artist visibility with bands like The Vanishing, Phallus Über Alles, Kunst, and rapper Tara DeLong. 

Hanin Elias’ solo-career includes notable collaborations and remixes from Le Tigre, Alexander Hacke, Thurston Moore, J Mascis, Alec Empire, Merzbow, TweakerRay, and Pigface, of whom she also performed with in 2005. Her recent single “DO YOU KNOW!!!!!!!” was released on MachineKUNT Records’ “Sanity is Slavery” compilation. She’s been claimed as a “21st Century Punk Goddess” in Chicks on Speed’s 2006 feminist music retrospective “Girl Monster,” which featured her new album’s title track, “Get it Back.”
