Partant d'Agadez, Azawad, puis le monde, la musique touareg a grandi avec Tinariwen et elle vit désormais avec Ezza.

Se détachant de ses illustres prédécesseurs, le power trio EZZA transforme et amène la musique touareg hors des sentiers convenus, mêlant sans concessions sonorités rock modernes, pulse africaine, rythmiques transes, et groove implacable. 

Des mélodies et un groove puisés dans le désert, un savoureux mélange de blues, de rock, et de chansons touaregs ... le trio EZZA porte un regard sur le Niger, pays d'origine du chanteur Omar Adam, à travers une musique engagée et porteuse d'espoir. Accrocheur et terriblement efficace.

Issu d'une famille de forgerons touaregs du Niger, Goumour Omar Adam grandit en apprenant le métier de ses parents. Enfant, il s'imprègne des groupes emblématiques touaregs tels que Tinariwen, Takrist Nakal...En arrivant en France, à Toulouse, il crée le groupe Ezza avec Menad Moussaoui (basse / Bombes2Bal, Guesra ...) et Stéphane Gratteau (batterie / Curcuma, Stabat Akish, ...).

Tuareg blues guitar music hits the music airwaves once again, but this time it is not Tinariwen, Tidawt, or Toumast. Instead, the North African guitar rockers are Ezza, originally from Niger, but now based in France. The seven track release is loaded with rockin' hooks and licks deep from within the Saharan desert. However, the musical influences may extend beyond the region, but the end result is something of pure magnificence. The fluid guitar calisthenics are very engaging, along with the lead vocals.
