Charles Summerfield has been a musician from the tender age of 13 when he had his first television debut. From that moment on Charles has continued to create music and has performed with a multitude of artists from all over the world, on stages all over the world. Charles’ music is a fusion of afro-balkan-jazz-latino-world styles. His talent extends to singing in about 11 different languages. This incredible singer and songwriter has performed at the Harare International Festival of the Arts for many years, and at the FIFA Fanwalk 2010. Charles’ band- the URJ (Unlimited Resources of Joy) is always a mix of musicians. Notable collaborators have been Oliver Mtukudzi, Chiwoniso Maraire and Reggae star Luciano. His music and original songs promote a greener, and more environmentally friendly world.
