“From 2016-2022 I was just using this page (originally titled "Tryptamang") to show my amateurish experimentations/demo's using Ableton intro, a 2012 Macbook & ATH-M40x’s. In 2023 (After losing this first laptop to old age along with almost all my pre 2021 projects) I've finally obtained a fresh MacBook & Ableton suite so now plan to single handedly produce, mix, master & release my multi-genre debut album! "Ulises Rodríguez AKA Zagan, originally from Mexico City, launches a project that has been shaped and solidified through exposure to the electronic music scene and rave culture.

Having been influenced and loved since childhood by genres such as heavy metal, thrash metal, and black metal, Zagan intends to project the same sensations, emotions, and dark atmospheres of metal, merging them with the fast-paced beats and dense textures of darkpsy, hi-tech, and forest, these being the genres that define him.

The project's debut was in early 2025 thanks to an excellent collaboration with the Acid Crew team, performing in the city center, and oaxaca, that was such an excellent trip and got to know my friend and manager Carlos aka Chroma who opened me the doors and gave me the chance being part of Omnicrom as a DJ.

Zagan is an immersive, dark, psychedelic experience that invites you to explore the depths of the psyche, making contact with the darkest and most abysmal part of the being as an entity in the depths of the cosmos."
