La recherche un jour prend fin.
Au moment où nous avons tout trouvé.
Elle nous emmène avant cela sur un terrain où nous jonglons tantôt agilement, tantôt maladroitement avec nos propres définitions et redéfinitions.
Avant de chercher pourquoi nous vivons, je vais donc tenter de définir la vie, depuis ma petite fenêtre ...

Certains reconnaissant être perdus se sont peut-être plus trouvé que d'autres.
L'amour est vie et évidence, la mort est grise, elle n'est brillante.
La mort veut nous persuader qu'elle fait partie de notre vie pour tenter de nous la prendre.
Elle vient nous ternir et souhaite nous rendre plus que fade et sans saveur.
La vie, au contraire, donne de tout ce qu'elle est pour être agréable.
Pour moi, la vie n'est pas une épreuve, c'est la rencontre d'elle et de son opposé qui en est une.

Je ne pense pas que nous n'étions rien pour ensuite vivre et mourir.
Je pense être dans une expérience qui mélange l'énergie de la vie et l'énergie de la mort.
Chaque onde de vie rencontrée sur ce parcours est bonheur et réciproquement.

7. Waiting

My family kept calling me out for not talking with them about our recent shared traumas.
I’d talk with them for their grief yet after months of silence they noticed that I never spoke of mine.
I didn’t know how.
I didn’t even speak about it all with myself yet.
I was running for months, hell years even
Into lust, greed, gluttony, addiction and drugs.
I just kept repeating these cycles.

The itch of addiction crawling all in my brain, I relapsed after almost 2 months of sobriety.
My head was so loud.
I was so angry, my tools weren’t working.
So I said fuck it and grabbed some weed as mentioned in The Ballad Of Cain, rolled a joint, sat at a park bench by a tree and smoked a joint while writing to myself the very questions in this song.
This song is an honest conversation with myself and my shadow.

I was going to differentiate the voices so it would be like different characters, then I was like “man I’m too tired for this shit imma jus do it let them figure it out.”
So yeah 👍
