It’s always a pleasure diving into the deeper corners of the 3000 family, and this latest drop on 3000 Deep sees the heavyweight pairing of DJ Pencil & The Cut Up Boys join forces with Jemz for a standout double drop that oozes character. With two originals on display, we see the pair
leaning heavily into the darker, moodier side of garage-inspired sound design.

We kick off with ‘Stay With Me’, a glowing combination of bubbling chord progressions and moody sub tones, topped with Jemz’s euphoric vocal layers. The cut’s crunchy 2-step drum textures and choppy rhythmic patterns keep the energy bubbling throughout, making it a proper roller for the late-night hours. On the flip, ‘Let’s Go Dancing’ switches the mood entirely, diving into eerie vocal overlays and a slower halftime drum design, with booming LFO-driven bass textures adding a truly haunted undertone.

This is a seriously weighty outing that shows just how versatile 3000 Deep drops can be, and one that’s bound to do damage across underground dances.
