Ever since the early 90s, The Mover has set the standard for apocalyptic melodramatic techno and has been praised as one of the leading artists of Planet Core Productions. His distinct tone and memorable production expertise, causes one to leave the world behind.
In 2018 he returns with “Undetected Act From The Gloom Chamber”, an album which implies all the goodness and fears he is renowned for.

Bionic Romance EP is Anetha’s second release on Blocaus series following 2017's very successful Leftover Love EP. Once again, Anetha continues to play to her strengths and delivers four tracks - diverse and rich in the depth, texture and hypnotism of techno deep space explorations. On the A-Side, ‘Myiuki & Patrizia’ starts the release as an intricate, atmospheric title track with warm synth lines ; ‘Ultra Speed Dating’ features a muscular four-to-the-floor beat and a perpetual stomp to devastating effect perfect for peak-time. On the B-Side, ‘Silicon Desire’ takes us in a slightly melancholic direction with its hypnotic pulses. ‘Virtual Ritual’ closes the EP as no nonsense purified techno with a raw groove. Nevertheless, the label has become synonymous with Quality and Consistency with a wide range of timeless sounds from Techno, House, Dub Techno, Electro, championing some of the most respected names in the scene and pushing the youth and putting this same Youth at the very top of the Chain, the label Philosophy keeps rotating on a different level of Orbits trying to reach always the best result and never be influenced by anything in the Scene.

The Box is a meticulous work of One entire Year, every artist of the 20 selected delivered something that connects deeply with the label and the reason why they are part of it. 
The study goes beyond when Artists get different colors of palettes and a different surface to paint, their known soundscapes comes with something freer than the usual approach that they did in their singles. Ellen Allien’s ‘Remix 1’ of ‘Mercurial Skin’ welcomes a series of acid-tinged synths patterns, whilst Yogg & Pharaoh unleash off-kilter synths and sinister tones throughout ‘Maara’. Antigone and fellow Taapion co-founder AWB lower the tempo and bring a moment of rest to the fore with their slick interpretation of ‘Ivory’, working spectral sounds amongst precise drum shots, before handing over to Hadone who delivers his second remix of ‘Minotia’, this time opting for an all-out assault of high-octane drum arrangements contrasted against underlying core melodies and completing the package in style.

Prolific Italian producer Kaiser makes his long awaited debut on Soma with a perfectly executed 4 track EP, The Way Back. Having been present on the scene through releases with Planet Rhythm, Animal Farm and more recently his own K S R imprint, Kaiser's style is a mixture of abrasive, hypnotic Techno blended with element of minimalism, glued together with a solid amount of groove. 

Title track The Way Back reminisces to Birmingham-era UK Techno with it’s thundering rhythms and twisted synth hook. Tales Of The Future takes things on a more futuristic tip as spacial polyrhythms build the structure of this very functional track. Ramping up the pace a little more, Loud Cries builds incessantly as impulsive percussion drives this perfectly crafted tool. Clubbed to Death finishes off this Soma debut EP from Kaiser with a speedy broken beat as atonal pads and drones create a densely packed, atmospheric and climactic track.

Welcome Portguese artist Temudo with another slice of action on the Unnecessary EP that features hypnotic, mind-bending riffs. Having carved out his path already on Soma, he has releases on Developer’s Modularz, Bas Mooy’s Mord, Ricardo Garduno’s Illegal Alien, EarToGround, and Invite’s Choice amongst others.

For this DT:Premiere we selected “At Least One Time In Your Life” that begins promptly with cyclical, swarms of luxurious, analogue atmospherics. With a devilish funk and spaced-out sound, this gritty dance floor cannon of a track will be a rock solid selection in many DJ crates.
