Following his first official release on Headsbass and an incredibly well-received free download offering on SINE Audio (where he's also pioneering their A&R approach), our boy ELK is back with a new 2-tracker on hotly-tipped Brighton imprint Plaza. We've been privileged enough to have witnessed ELK's production journey through various insights and WIPs over the past year or so, and it's astounding how quickly he's come on, branching out into various sonic paths along the way. Where many have turned their gaze from quality control to chase early successes, ELK has bided his time, began perfecting his art and is now reaping the benefits of this patience and consequential wisdom.

This latest offering exemplifies that, finding a wholly suitable home on Plaza. With the A-side, 'Separation', premiering over on Mixmag, we're delighted to host the colourful, exponentially groovy 'Yamaji' here at OTW. This is just the start for the talented young producer, writer and A&R extraordinaire.

His numerous collaborations & remixes MC's most notably D Double E who's UK Funky/Grime anthem 'Like This' remains a mainstay in the scene today, but also Slick Don, Killa P, Shantie, Magugu, Champion and Hannah Wants & Lorenzo all demonstrate his sheer versatility as a producer each of his productions has a unique and original feel, while still retaining his trademark sound. This is a trait always at the forefront of his live mixes, fast paced and exciting, dropping dub after dub and mixing smoothly between 130-160 bpm.
