Curtis Thompson is a classical guitarist, music educator, and recording artist based in Moorhead, MN. He specializes in early 20th-century repertoire and performs across classical, jazz, and musical theater styles. Thompson has taught at Idaho State University and developed guitar curricula for collegiate and public school programs.

In 2025, he studied with Pepe, Celino, and Lito Romero at the Celedonio Romero Guitar Institute, where he performed Concerto Andaluz by Rodrigo. He holds music degrees from Idaho State University and Northern Arizona University and has performed in masterclasses with Scott Tennant and Vladimir Gorbach.

Thompson is active in the Midwest performance scene and regularly appears with orchestras, jazz bands, and theater productions. His debut album Tonada features works by Ponce, Barrios, and Villa-Lobos.
