Sugerowany klimat: trance, old-school, acid, uptempo, deep/hipnotic, EBM. Nagranie ma mieć ok. 45 minut i wyrażać Wasz styl i umiejętności. Opisy DJ setów powinny zawierać tracklistę.
Liczymy zwłaszcza na pasjonatów czarnych płyt, live act'owców oraz grających hybrid sety. Od chcących zagrać DJ set spodziewamy się znajomości obsługi sprzętu DJ'skiego na poziomie CDJ/turntable + mixer.
Wrzucone na Soundcloud sety publikujcie pod tym postem. Spośród wszystkich wybierzemy co najmniej jeden, którego autorowi zaproponujemy slot podczas najbliższej edycji SECRET VALENTINES RAVE 12/02/2022.

DJ CONTEST
We’re offering You a task that might make Your life in lockdown a bit easier. Up until 7.02.2022 We’ll be waiting for Your DJ sets. Preferred genres: trance, old-school, acid, uptempo, deep/hypnotic, EBM. The recording should be about 45 mins long and present Your style as well as the abilities that You possess. The tracklist in the description is also required.
We’re especially hoping to hear some vinyl passionates, live act performers as well as hybrid sets. For all those that want to take part in the contest: Please note that We expect You to be familiar with the DJ gear in the form of CDJ/Turntable + mixer. Once recorded, leave the Soundcloud links in the comment section under this post. We’ll choose at least one person from all the entries and offer a chance to perform at the next SECRET VALENTINES RAVE 12/02/2022.

'Ask Yourself' 032 w/Guest: Chris Ghoste & Kilo

K I L O - is a polish DJ and beginer producer from Ostróda. His music adventure started in 2011 from trance sounds. As he knows better the oportunities of this music world, he decided to explore house beats. Durring the trip he finally found his place in techno.
As a DJ he gained the experience by performing in Olsztyn clubs. In that time he met Chris Choste.  This colaboration bring guys to create a new project called KCG. In 2017 we could hear their first composition on DI.fm radio. They have been invited too the radio auditions by DUSS"Ask Yourself" episode 32. In May 2022  year he released  debut track- "Behind Me", which he released on the KAHERU label. It is also a co-organizer of a series of events called TECHNO XPANSION, where artists associated with the broadly understood techno scene and its varieties are invited.
In KILO's sets we can hear not only classical techno beats, but also deep, dark or acid sounds mixed together with techno style.
One thing we can be sure off, as the audience says- durring his performances one beat is powered by the other.

K I L O – pochodzący z Ostródy DJ i początkujący producent, który romans z muzyką elektroniczną rozpoczął w 2011 od brzmień trancowych. Poznając szerzej możliwości, które daje ten świat zapoznał się z gatunkiem house i różnymi jego odmianami, aż finalnie odnalazł swoje miejsce w rytmach Techno. W 2017 roku zaprezentował swojego seta wraz z Chris Ghostem na falach radia DI.fm, będąc zaproszonymi do audycji radiowej duetu DUSS „Ask Yourself” episode 32. W maju 2022 roku światło dzienne właśnie ujrzał, jego debiutancki numer ,,Behind Me”, który wydał w wytwórni KAHERU.  Jest również współorganizatorem cyklu imprez pod tytułem TECHNO XPANSION, gdzie zapraszani są artyści powiązani z szeroko pojętą sceną techno i jej odmianami. W jego setach będziemy mogli usłyszeć nie tylko klasyczne brzemiennie techno, ale również odmiany takie jak deep, dark czy acid połączone z house oraz progressive.
