Fresh after the release of the new album DJ Sotofett & The Colours Of Computer Generated Instruments on the Clone West Coast Series — a 15-track journey through the outer edges of electro — comes The Mixtape: a 45-minute DJ set mixed by DJ Sotofett himself.

The album explores a wide sonic palette, fusing 80s Nintendo console aesthetics with the timeless clash of analog and digital synthesis. Expect everything from acid-laced grooves and infectious electronic pop to bold, avant-garde electro cuts.

The mixtape, mixed on two Technics 1210s in classic hip-hop mixtape tradition, features select cuts from the album alongside standout tracks by legends such as Aux 88, Skatebård, Carl Craig, Cosmic Baby, Westbam & Nena, Kraftwerk, DMX Krew, DJ Hell, Pom Pom, The Advent, Victor Duplaix, Dopplereffekt, Gus Gus, Reese Project, Daft Punk, and The Jonzun Crew.

It’s a raw, energetic mix paying homage to the past while pushing the sound forward — just like the album itself.

Legowelt is the alias of Dutch producer Danny Wolfers, a prolific figure in underground electronic music known for his raw, analog-rich sound that blends elements of Detroit techno, Chicago house, Italo disco, and sci-fi atmospheres. With a career spanning over two decades, he's released on respected labels like Clone, L.I.E.S., and Ghostly International, while also building a cult following through his DIY spirit, vintage synth obsession, and expansive catalogue under numerous aliases.

My Feeling

In April, we had the honour of hosting one of the all-time greats: Intergalactic Gary. We're thrilled to finally share the recording of his set that night at Low Profile Studios, so you can relive the dancefloor magic. Over the course of two and a half hours, you'll hear Gary’s mastery in full effect as he glides through Italo deep cuts, proto-house meltdowns, space-disco voyages and much, much more.  

We’ll be returning to Low Profile Studios for another night of sonic synchromysticism on the 23rd of August, this time with Alicia Carrera and Jonah Considine.
