Der Krach der Bahn verschwindet und du hörst ein ganz leises, dumpfes, sich wiederholendes Geräusch was deine Neugier weckt, bist du nicht deswegen hier?
Um so weiter du dich wagst um so lauter und klarer wird das Geräusch und du fängst unbewusst an mit dem Kopf zu nicken, mit dem Finger in deiner Hosentasche, zum Takt zu tippen.
Der schwarze Schwan an der Fassade zeigt dir den Weg.
Geradewegs durch den Überseecontainer gelangst du auf den Hof und stehst vor dem dunklen Gemäuer. Der Sound hat dich gepackt, raus aus der Dunkelheit, rein in die Dunkelheit.

After more than two decades of behind the scenes collaboration Juan Atkins & Moritz von Oswald present Borderland - their debut collaborative album to be released this summer on Tresor Records.

The album - made up of 8 sequences, which seamlessly blend the styles of both masters - was recorded at the beginning of 2013 over various studio sessions in Berlin and will be released as a series of three 12"s and a CD album. "Mars Garden" is a first preview, available on streaming only. 

Together with a live show being debuted this coming weekend at MUTEK festival - the record gives common voice to two independent yet mutually supporting musical journeys, achieving a singular expression of club-orientated electronic music and the freedom of organic musical experimentation.
