Let’s talk about New Year’s resolutions… 

🎇Do you feel like you are on track with the resolutions you’ve made? 
🎇Do your resolutions have you feeling like you are letting yourself or others down already?

Although new year's resolutions are set with the best of intentions, more often than not, they leave us feeling frustrated and disappointed😔I have been there myself - personally struggling to maintain resolutions, and experiencing the ‘letdown’ when I reached for a sweet treat 🍬or got off track on my own personal goals.  

Please, do not beat yourself up! Have compassion for yourself 🌸especially when you are setting out to purposely manifest something in your life - the road is not always a linear progression. And know that you are always doing things the best way you know how.

With this podcast, I want to illuminate the opportunities to be even more loving of self, and ultimately empowered ⚡️even if your resolutions aren't working out.

Oftentimes behind our resolutions is an underlying pattern that began for us in childhood - by pattern I mean things we would do or say in order to receive a particular benefit, and so our ego could be satisfied whether it was an act of sabotaging ourselves or getting praise from those in our families/inner circles, etc. 

So how can we figure out what patterns are influencing our resolutions, and truly inner-stand our WHY for our resolutions? Ask yourself these key questions to start:

💗What may be a disempowering or continuous pattern that I am playing out with forming this resolution or with experiencing its outcome?

💗What triggers me or gets me off track when I try to accomplish certain goals, and are they related to any experience I had in my childhood?

💗Was my resolution created to boost my appearance in society or with those close to me?

💗With the resolutions I’ve created for this year or in the past, were there any feelings of unworthiness or shame attached to the resolutions if they weren’t achieved?

Asking these questions will help us narrow down the real meaning behind why we make the resolutions we do, AND they’ll help us inner-stand the resolutions we CAN make that are more aligned with us and our journey of self-love!

And sometimes that means not making any resolutions at all!

Ep 124 ~ The New Year Resolution Games We Play

The key to happiness lies in your heart ❤️ and in the change you desire.

Societally, familially, communally - change has not been accepted or celebrated for a long time. Change for many of our families and those in our inner circles, has often been frowned upon and resisted. 

But this just keeps us in an unhappiness - unfulfilling loop…when we’ve actually come to live in this NOW, and use our gifts of free will to create all that we want in life 🙌 🌱  

In this podcast, I want to invite you to look beyond the parameters of your world 🌎 And realize → what you think isn’t possible, truly IS! Yes you could move there, yes you could buy that thing, yes you can have that relationship, achieve that goal, and the list goes on!  ♾️ 

But is our desire to transform ourselves and better our lives, strong enough to make it all happen? 🤔 That’s the real question.

Ep 125 ~ Make It Happen! Prepare Your Canvas for Change

Parents!! 

Do you ever worry about the decisions your kids make? Ever?? I know it's a rarity (😉)...

But I want to help us in this episode, release our attachment and decrease our stress related to the decisions our kids make in their lives 🐣😬

So, take a deep breathe…🌬

And then take another….

So often (or all the time) we want everything to be PERFECT for our children. To be safe, to be meaningful, educational, helping them in the long run, to be beneficial in every way, etc. 🙏

But these wants of ours can become roadblocks for their development and life experience 😕 

Our children are the next generation and NEW creators of Earth. They are here to cocreate a better planet and way of living for all life🌟🌎 And though we never mean to, it is our fears and programming from our childhood caregivers that can hold them back from tapping into their full potential.

If we can’t be honest with ourselves, we will never be able to fully accept who we are, and to transform in the ways we desire 🦋

🫶 I know this kind of exercise may feel very scary to a lot of us. I know it did for me the first time I committed to being honest with myself. 

👉 If negative or unsupportive thoughts/feelings come up for you, step into your brave self and let them KNOW that you are 💯% in charge!

Because you can be EXACTLY who you want to be in this life 🦋

As we commit to making these changes and befriending ourselves, our actions create more experiences of happiness and love in every area of our lives 😇💗🙏

Ep. 137 ~ Our Need To Control

We all know jokes and some sort of making fun, can be friendly and contribute to a light atmosphere in a family. But oftentimes, it does more harm than good ⛔😕

Is there a particular child or even parent, who always gets the short end of the stick? Who's always picked on, cut down or who just doesn’t “fit in” with the rest of the family❓

👉More than ever we need families and the household to be a safe environment for all involved 🙏

If someone is always getting blamed or targeted, then there needs to be a coming together of all of you 🙌 especially if you want to create a safe, supportive and happier environment for all family members 💗

Top things to consider about your family environment:

1️⃣Does everyone feel they can speak openly and honestly about their feelings or stressful situations in life, while having a supportive space held for them? 🗣✨
2️⃣Are there any unhealthy family dynamics playing out right now that are forming an unsupportive environment in the household? 👎
3️⃣Parents (or family members), what can you do moving forward, to get everyone on an equal playing field? 🤝🙂

**Regarding children specifically 👇🐣

Your home determines how your child feels about themselves. Children feel more empowered and confident within themselves when their feelings are validated, and when they are included in the bigger family conversations 🤲💫✨
