'ARBOR LOW' focuses on the supernatural qualities of the eponymous Derbyshire Stone Circle, a large henge near Bakewell. Described as a ‘clock face of teeth’ it is associated with strange occurrences as is the legend of nearby Gib (Hanging) Hill. We also took inspiration form the ghostly writings of local author Robert Murray Gilchrist. (Reg Clegg, co-composer).

Recorded Dec 2011, Burton Institute, Winster, Derbyshire. Overdubs at The Greenhouse, Derbyshire, Jan - Apr 2012. 
Eight musicians from the JET Collective spent a weekend developing the new suite of music inspired by Derbyshire Landscapes, customs and ideas, (originally begunat the first JETWorks weekend on June 25/26th), and then performing it on the Sunday evening - who knew what would happen? They then developed and completed it in October 2011, and performed it to a rapturous reception. 
Jet Collective is a recently formed group of professional Derbyshire jazz musicians who have come together to collaborate and explore musical opportunities outside their usual bands. 
The musicians are Steve Salfield and Sara Littlefield on saxophones, Reg Clegg on guitars, voice and production, Pat Sprakes on guitar and double bass, Paul Biggins on keyboard, bass and guitar, Wendy Kirkland on keyboard and vocals, Karen Clegg on vocals, piano, melodica and flute, Clive Loveday on drums.
