"Apparatus“ is Rizla Ops’ debut EP on Voitax, a deeply personal creation born swiftly amidst the heartbreak of losing a close friend, Ollie Mazgaj. Crafted during a period of introspection, the EP became an anchor, the only thing that felt right in a world detached from the club and daily routine. 

Sonically diverse, "Apparatus“ explores techno, drill, amapiano, grime, and garage, maintaining a common thread of dissonance, functionality, and groove. The title track, „Apparatus, stands out as an outlier in Rizla Ops’ discography, featuring big melodic moments that capture the raw emotions of the artist at that particular time. Despite his usual preference for conveying ideas through rhythm and sound design, this EP marks a turning point, hinting at future experiments with melody and harmony. 

"Apparatus“ is more than a collection of tracks; it’s a sonic journey through genres, emotions, and personal growth—a testament to Rizla Ops’ dedication to pushing boundaries and creating immersive, thought-provoking electronic music.

Markham Road Records is back steering steady with atch22, Count, Rizla Ops, and Teqmun in the driver seats. MR003 finds form as a quartet of percussion providing some real bang for your buck. This release was dreamt up for quick stepping activity, and the four tracks assembled provide a wide ranging toolkit to get us all moving. Although each artist provides a unique solution, movement was and remains the underlying idea behind this third release.

MR003’s concluding track takes sonic blistering to a whole new level. Teqmun’s masterclass in unrelenting percussion continues to capture our hearts, and surge through our speakers. “Stop Scanning the Zebras” is a fast paced tech heavy track centered by vocals from the producer himself. “I imagined being so out of your mind that you can't stop trying to scan zebra's like barcodes with a scanner”. This track is easy to get lost inside of and therefore evokes some sort of free fall -> an exercise in letting go for eager ears in dimly lit spaces.

Noise Casino debuts on Artificio with «Pa», a three-track EP that pushes the boundaries of club music. «Pa» opens with its namesake track, a dark, immersive journey driven by distorted bass lines and dynamic percussive elements. «Siquiera» follows, layering nostalgic samples from Colombian cinema and commercials over a textured soundscape, creating a deeply resonant and resourceful composition. The EP concludes with «Triple A», a high-energy track that fuses propulsive beats with Latin percussion, designed to ignite the dance floor.
