Following on from the Sven Tasnadi release last month, up next on 2020Vision we have a killer EP from Berlin resident, Kindimmer. 

Having released on Poker Flat, Local Talk & Claap, Thanasis Voulgaris has garnered a reputation for delivering deeper than your average club tracks, effortlessly merging the boundaries between house and techno with an emphasis on solid grooves. 

On the Noble Loser EP he shows this in abundance with techno pulses blurred alongside bouncing house. From deep, spacey atmospherics, through to jack’d out swinging snare and high hat combinations. 

Having wanted to get Thanasis involved in the label for a while its great to have him on board for 2015 and we very much look forward to what the future has in store for our relationship…

When we decided to release Chloroformd in 2013, we knew that it was gonna be a special one; the vocals were catchy and the synths were lush and simply outstanding. The record managed to squeeze itself into charts, clubs and hearts in the same measure. Now that some time as passed since its initial release, we felt it deserved a special rework. For this task we brought in two very special remix guests. First, comes Sicilian-export Paul Ursin, who has already collaborated with and remixed names like Simple Minds, Danny Tenaglia or Turntable Orchestra. 

His remix infuses the tech-factor into the original with an infectious bassline and driving beats, while cleverly working the original synths and vocals whilst slowly leading to a killer breakdown. Just the right amount of darkness, with extra slice of groove for those eager to see bodies shaking in the dancefloor. 

For the second rework, we got the talented duo Me & Her, already members of our family roster and owners of a unique talent when it comes to creating beats. Their version oozes of mistery and climates, a synth bassline growls and progresses all through the track while insane vocal arrangements send your mind on a trip.

We are happy to bring back some memories with this one.

Lee Renacre’s Phat Girl EP was originally released in 1996, boasting four seriously groovy techno cuts emblematic of those times. It is Lee’s first solo release and it came out on his own Format Records, which was started the same year. While back then you could probably buy it as a white label from the back of his car, you can now finally get it as a reissue.  

Physical Education is @Baldo 's new label, coming in strong with this as the first release, and one of the many upcoming must have tech house/techno classics.

Colombian artist ADI delivers her debut album via Belgium’s Basic Moves this November, comprised of eight original compositions. Hailing from Bogotá, Colombia, ADI has steadily developed a reputation as a driving force for raw, stripped-back electronic sounds on her home turf and across the globe. 

In 2018 ADI launched Automagically alongside partner Theories, a platform for music and art that has welcomed and collaborated with artists like Unai Trotti, Francesco Del Garda, Audio Werner and many more. Here we see ADI delivering her debut album via Belgium’s Basic Moves, a project that’s been two years in the making and was born out of a friendship between label boss Michiel Claus aka Walrus, the pair initially met while he was on tour in Colombia and again when ADI toured Europe, the pair have been developing this album ever since.

Across the eight track collection, which will come as a 2x12’’ and 7’’ vinyl release, ADI delivers the culmination of all of her musical experiences over the years. Opener ‘Output’ sets the tone with warbling synth line, bumpy off-kilter drums and hazy atmospherics.
