Michael Ritter returns to his Grey Bar Hotel imprint with ‘Yawa Raf’ EP. Grey Bar Hotel is a Berlin-based melodic house label curated by Michael Ritter and Felix E. Alongside showcases in and outside of Germany, the imprint focuses on fostering local and international artists, working with Kamilo Sanclemente, Indigo Man, Supacooks, and many more since the label’s inception in 2018. A regular performer around Berlin, Michael Ritter has previously appeared on Stellar Black, YOMO Records and Polyptych. Returning to his own Grey Bar Hotel for his latest release, the DJ/producer delivers four deep and moving tracks across the ‘Yawa Raf’ EP. Our choice here was closing track ‘Elephant’ which rounds out the release with syncopated melodic elements and clever arrangements amongst gorgeous chords.

Wannabe A Frog Records serves up a selection of remixes and a 2023 update of Guy Laliberté & Soul of Zoo feat. Dominique Fils-Aimé 'Into Your Tribe' with Bedouin, Nhii, Tebra, Hicky & Kalo, and Just Emma all adding their own spin.

Says the label, "This is a gathering of music artists who grow human connections through the creation of original music and live performance rituals. We ignite human connection by leveraging the power of music. We cross-pollinate creativity by gathering artists from all genres. We are communicating messages of love, community, and global consciousness in our melodies."

Into Your Tribe (Remaster 2023) is a deeply enchanting tune with mid-tempo rolling drums, raw guitar licks, and tropical percussion under the soulful vocal. After a chunkier club mix comes a spine-tingling deep house rework by Bedouin complete with mystic synth leads and then a Nhii Remix offers something more textural and late night with cosmic synths bringing the tension. The Tebra Remix is another loose-limbed and deeper workout with an organic feel and steamy atmosphere. Into Your Tribe (Just Emma Sunset Remix) has a lumpy rhythm that rises and falls under the gorgeous original vocal, Into Your Tribe (Hicky & Kalo Remix) then takes things into the cosmos with more heavenly-sounding vocals and a rich array of lush synths, and a final Alternative mix brings some sleazy guitar riffs and a chanting vocal.

gleb filipchenkow & Alexey Union come together with featured vocalist Remo for two classy new house cuts on Kindisch.

gleb filipchenkow is a Russian artist who frequently collaborates with others and always cooks up enthralling house grooves on labels like The Basement Discos, Secret Fusion and VOD. For this one, he works with countryman Alexey Union, a DJ, composer and musician who makes sounds for mind, body and soul and has done for almost a decade.

Remo is the featured guest on both of these excellent tracks, starting with 'Weak.' There's a humid Afro-house feel to its deep rolling drums and late-night synth charm. The whispered vocal is delicate and soulful as it floats next to soft sax lines and wispy melodies. 'High' is a little more direct with busy percussive chatter and more tense vocals that rise up above the sustained chords. It's still an intimate track but one that builds the mood on the dance floor to more energetic levels.

This is a stylish pair of emotional house sounds from gleb filipchenkow & Alexey Union.

Swiss-born DJ and producer Dario D’Attis joins forces with longtime collaborator Haldo for the latest release on Poker Flat Recordings, following on from Back To The Old (2025 on Poker Fkat).. 

Naku is a deep, groove-driven cut that grew from a hypnotic bassline and is elevated by the magnetic vocals. Blending timeless house sensibilities with rich Afro-inspired textures, the track is both soulful and primed for the dancefloor.

"I’ve been working with Haldo in the studio for almost 20 years." says Dario D'Attis. "He’s one of my favorite musicians. We always record what we play and then I let myself be inspired by the recordings in my studio and just make my cuts. Naku actually grew out of the baseline."

Adding to the release, UK house legend Atjazz (Martin Iveson) delivers his signature Galaxy Aart rework, presenting both a stunning remix and a stripped dub version. His remix deepens the original’s hypnotic pull, layering textures and intricate rhythms that showcase his unmistakable touch.

Cette année, j’ai surtout consolidé ce que j’avais fait jusqu’ici.
J’ai repris tout ce que j’ai appris en traitement du son sur ordinateur pour revenir sur les morceaux créés quand j’étais exclusivement sur synthé.
Là, c’est le second set live que je publie.
L’exercice est un peu délicat : je pars d’un enregistrement en direct, mais la prise était de qualité suffisante pour me laisser une vraie marge de travail.
L’occasion de réécouter, de revivre des émotions anciennes, avec tous les souvenirs qui vont avec… et parfois un peu de doute et de douleur aussi.
