We Küyen Presents: Our First Compilation Release, in Pisces Season

We Küyen invites you to join us on a journey through sound with our first compilation release, timed perfectly to coincide with the new moon in Pisces.

Pisces season kicked off on February 18th, with the new moon in Pisces just a few days later. The astrological energy of this time is one of heightened creativity and emotional connection, making it the perfect time to release a compilation that celebrates artistic expression.

Our Third Compilation Release is a testament to the global talent in the downtempo/organic house scene, featuring a collection of tracks from very talented artists, including Audae, Konchord, Bummela, Judith Ahrends, and Monkyman. We are super grateful for their contributions, and we hope that you'll get inspired by their music.

As new season begins, there’s new moments to be had, new Experiences to make, and new love to spread; we must always remember from where we come. Kindisch Steps V marks a very special occasion, the fifth edition of the compilation, taking a loving look back at the Kindisch repertoire, as well as new music from Talal & Zoi, Konvex & The Shadow, Melokolektiv and Musto & Rietze. 
‘Didn't Know His Name’ is the first track (and first exclusive) on the compilation. Talal & Zoi craft a light and soulful blend of fluttering chords shinning throughout, sprinkled with elegant vocal edits. The boys of Konvex & The Shadow, Melokolektiv team up again for ‘East of Eden’, delivering the first hit to the dancefloor so far. Warm heavy kicks hold the rhythm as the organic ambience glides through. Living up to its name, the vibe is very eastern, with woodwinds soaring through a desert night. Musto & Rietze’s ‘Visions’ is the next breathtaking piece. Building on a beautifully soothing, yet powerful atmosphere, the tracks balances itself somewhere between dance and chill, but delivers effortlessly on both. Historia:

Cierto día (que ya olvidé cual era), a cierta hora (que ya olvidé cual era) la vi por primera vez. Cabello corto (muy corto), ojos profundos, semblante de tranquilidad. Miraba el móvil afuera de un salón de preparatoria. Me puse a un lado de ella. Me miró con aquellos ojos que penetran el alma y me dijo su nombre: Aquel que jamás podré olvidar. Recuerdo (aunque no quiera) cada letra, cada modo, cada tono que conforma el conjuro que supone su nombre. 

La Maga representa todo aquello que quieres, pero que no puedes tener. 

En menos de seis meses tomó una carretera que la llevó a kilómetros de mí. Un día me desperté de aquel sueño y solo quedaban vestigios de una mujer que parecía nunca haber existido, le seguí el rastro hasta aquella ciudad interminable, aquel Leon furioso y hambriento que reclamaba nuestros cuerpos. La seguí dos veces solo darme cuenta que nada valía la pena.

Recuerdo, solo fragmentos, tu cabello volando con el viento, tu sonrisa espontánea. A lo lejos, aquella ciudad sumergida en la melancolía…

Nunca serás más Maga que aquel atardecer en dónde mirábamos la TV, consumidos por el silencio de lo irremediable. A veces te pienso, y todo se vuelve oscuro, como si se tratase de un conjuro mágico.

Jamás serás más Maga que aquel día que te vi entrar al club y por fin entendí el mandamiento: “Santificaras las fiestas”

Recuerdo… solo fragmentos… de aquella noche oscura… nunca serás más Maga que cuando desapareciste sin dejar rastro alguno, y en mi cabeza, solo el vago rumor de una mujer de piel morena…

For many years, the trio consisting of Pedro, Muno and Defi have been around in the House Music scene in South America with their solo projects, and eventually joined forces to explore a more slow and organic sound. In their skillfully crafted productions they combine South American folk, downbeat and hypnotic synths into their own distinctive sound, which unfolds its compelling energy even more in their infectious live shows.

In „Le Fleur“, the opening arabesque Clarinet slowly entangles the bouncy groove, arpeggios burst like fresh buds until a conjuring synth line bring the tune into full bloom. Seems like spring was never gone!
