Dutch artist @westandhill makes his Kindisch debut with a pair of beautifully delicate house tracks.

The man is known simply as Glenn and explores rich house grooves that lay somewhere between 100 and 120 bpm. He has released with the likes of Connected Frontline, Abracadabra and Offering Recordings, is a regular at Complex in Maastricht who has shared the bill with big names like Âme, Maceo Plex and Joris Voorn and has recently been playlisted by tastemakers including Black Coffee and Keinemusik.

This tasteful release opens with 'Valaam' (Melodic version), which rides on a perfectly rubbery and bouncy mid-tempo groove. The rich drums are peppered with exotic string sounds and gentle percussion as sombre, heavy-hearted chords heat the whole thing through. It is sure to bring a tender and introspective touch to any dance floor, especially once the soft, almost choral vocals arrive. The Organic Version pairs things back a little and allows the musicality of the whole track to shine.

This is well-crafted and seductive house music that oozes intimate late-night charm.

It always takes a while for a record label to find its niche, but we're confident to say Manual Deep has found its sound nowadays. A recognizable blend of deep, warm and intelligent music for the openminded listener. 

One of the label's most iconic tracks of last year undoubtedly was Gate 44's 'Thinking' single, and now the Dutch duo is back with the official follow up; 'Berlin'. Melodic emotion filled music on a bed of broken beats, this will take you to a dreamlike state of mind.

Our first release of 2022 kicks off with a couple old friends who last appeared on the label a couple years ago, “C.Vogt & Patrick Jeremic”. Their new EP, “Wolken”, contains three beautifully crafted tracks of melodic deep house the pair are known for. 

Kicking off with “Let Me Be”, a layered production of warm bass and lucid toplines. “The Firmament” is synonymous with a dream - floating sounds suspended in air, and rounding out with the title track “Wolken”, a deep and moody panorama of melody and tone.

C.Vogt & Patrick Jeremic - Wolken [Do Not Sit On The Furniture]

Panama-born and now Berlin-based duo KEENE deliver a deep and trippy interpretation of the Sparrow & Barbossa 'Saudades Do Mar’ on their Cacao Records label, which celebrated its 5th Anniversary last year. Stompy toms, unusual percussive rhythms, a wild heated melodic line and some acid to spice up the day complements the outstanding vocals in Portuguese from Tosz, making it an outstanding remix to look up.

'The music project Na'é emerged out of the boredom and quietness that came with the lockdowns in late 2020 and the need to bring musical ideas into reality. By weaving sound recordings from everyday life, violin, accordion, piano, vocals and of course electronic production in Ableton Live, Na’é creates smooth electronic pieces which are suitable both for dancing and studying. As a compulsive backpacker and anthropology graduate, the musical genres collected during her travels can definitely be heard in her music. Na’é’s first EP Wave Motion was released independently in March 2021. From then until July of that year she produced her 9-track album Anima which will be released under the Music.art.ppl label in 2022.'
