TRAMONTATA E' LA LUNA è un  adattamento e rielaborazione della breve lirica della poetessa Saffo; Il frammento,  risalente al VI secolo a.C. è di sapore popolare ma raffinato, esprime una solitudine amorosa notturna, che un io parlante femminile traspone nel tramonto della luna, mentre il tempo inesorabilmente passa.  


La luna cala,
insieme alle Pleiadi...

È tramontata la luna,

la notte è  al  suo  mezzo,
il tempo si piega,
io resto —
