Bermula dari keisengan, membongkar dan membawakan ulang lagu-lagu band lain dan pada akhirnya terbentuklah duet Katjie & Piering ini. Kenakalan sejoli Kajtie & Piering yang sampai sekarang baru dua kali naik panggung ini mencoba membuktikan rasa asli lagu bisa berubah tergantung penyajiannya.

Lelaki dan perempuan dalam Katjie & Piering memiliki niat yang sama. Katjie & Pierinh adalah state of freedom dimana mereka berkarya di luar band masing-masing. Sementara covering dilakukan untuk memunculkan kerinduan para penciptanya agar segera pulang. Katjie & Piering  yang baru berusia puluhan hari memproduksi lima track yang kini sudah rampung dan sudah bisa kalian dapatkan secara cuma-cuma. Dari total lima lagu, empat judul diantaranya adalah cover version, serta satu lagu ciptaan mereka berdua.

Katjie & Piering tidak ingin “penetralisir digitalisasi Bandung” yang mereka buat disebut mini album. Secara personal  mereka menjadikan lima lagu tersebut sebagai hadiah ulang tahun bagi sang perempuan. Secara bisnis mereka ingin menggunakan hasil rekaman ini sebagai media tes pasar dan produk pra-rilis fisik.

Answer Sheet menurut penjelasan yang kami terima adalah grup ukulele dari Yogyakarta yang terdiri dari Ogi, Rebet dan Abi. Mereka baru saja merilis albumnya "Chapter I: Istas Promenade" yang katanya adalah perjalanan Istas bersama naga kesayangannya.

Dari 10 lagu yang terdapat di album mereka, kami di perbolehkan memilih satu lagu yang dianggap mewakili bunyi yang mereka hasilkan dan kami memilih lagu ini, track ke-9 perjalanan Istas yang konon menurut keterangan resminya, Istas teringat akan kenangan indah waktu kecil, bermain di pinggir sungai diantara pepohonan dan semak semak sekitarnya di Jogjakarta sana.

This track is the first single of Afternoon Talk's "Contradiction" album.
Island by Afternoon Talk is an interpretation of their hometown that awarded by many beaches to simply unwind. Imagine everyday visiting to the beach, embraced by the warm sun, inducing pleasant thoughts of tropical breezes, crashing waves, sun tan lotion and naps on the beach. This song tells this enjoyment. “We can dance we can dance along the night, we can sing we can sing until the sunrise”.
