Stoney and 3D wrote this song, I really liked the original and reading the comments someone had mentioned it would be interesting how it sounded with more rhythm guitar, got me thinking, yeah remix.. the guys said yes, obviously. I just got a Telecaster, 1st ever so I thought I'd try it on a partial rehearsed solo :-)and did some extra rhythm guitar too.

Hello everyone!
I take this opportunity to thank all, friends artists, producers and listeners for your support so exciting and inspiring!

Here is a track which I had already done some time ago and to which I have made some improvements in recent days. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. A great deal of work has been done on the piano, which at the bottom has only one note and I have worked in such a way as to get what you are going to hear. I also wanted to give priority to the drums that occupy an important place in this new track. A first for me, because I'm not a specialist of “Trance Music”, but I tried to approach this genre with as many harmonies and melodies as possible.

Voici une piste que j’avais déjà faite il y a quelques temps et à laquelle j’ai apporté quelques améliorations ces derniers jours. j'espère que vous l'apprécierez autant que moi. Un gros travail a été fait sur le piano qui ne comportait, à la base, qu'une seule note et que j'ai travaillé de façon à obtenir ce que vous allez entendre. J'ai également voulu donner une priorité aux percussions qui occupent une place importante dans cette nouvelle piste. Une première pour moi, car je ne suis pas un spécialiste de la "Trance", mais j'ai essayé d'aborder ce genre avec le plus d'harmonies et de mélodies possible.

Living In The Moment

Instrumental version of “I shot the sheriff”, the song written by Bob Marley (The Wailers).

Some days ago, Alphio (@alpha-roots) sent me the rhythm track of this song, and kindly asked me if I would jam with it. I said Yes... It's one of my all time favorite songs again.

His initial version sounded great to my ears as I instantly loved it, but when I started jamming along, I personally felt that it was a bit too slow for me to add the lead melody so on... and bass sounded a bit too low (despite that original key is Gm, it had -1 octave + 1 tone= Am) and worried that bass would sound less prominent and not audible through the speakers as compared with the other parts I’d first planned to add.
I also wanted to have a little more up-down accent patterns and accessory notes so on for the bass line (especially for the verse A) in this regard and chordal variations as well on the rhythm guitar as the original has more and a little more for own arrangement.  

So, I revised almost all parts on his initial track except the hand percussion by him [>> Details below ].

I apologize for I've destroyed Alphio’s minimalism...but I had much fun working with it and I would like to thank him again for his kind offer and for allowing me to arrange it freely. 

My arrangement basically followed Hiram Bullock’s cover version (Jazz Rock version with ‘Guitar vocals’) except the rhythm guitars and the ending solo sections adding some improvised phrases of mine.
Well, I could play other versions as well - original studio version, Clapton’s cover version etc -  but, since I’m not a good singer, I decided to do like this anyway. 
Hope you enjoy. Any feedback would be appreciated.

To teleport to 60's even faster, when Robert Moog was inventing Model D, I played MiniMoog, Moog Modular (and other synths by Arturia and Korg). Played my blue Fender Strat to signify the times, when Jimi Hendrix was grinding his teeth over his black one. Pushing flowers to the guns with Electronic and Psychedelic Rock is still needed. Imagined all thru my prism of future Deep Disco and Indie Dance vibe. Drums and all prod done in Ableton Live, mastering with IK Multimedia tools.

Setting aside his doubts and fears the Narrator enters the eerie house-by-the-mere and encounters the recently dismissed family doctor on the stairs.
Well intentioned advice from the 'voice of experience' which is shot-through with scepticism, mockery and envy.

An ideal opportunity for a guest vocalist and who better than my good mate Nath?
He even helped out with the video production.

This is the last complete song I'll be posting for a while. The next trio are going to be tough going and I'm not 100% sure how they'll take shape. Final versions will be a long way off.
