José Roboter - The Dream House (STW Premiere)


Pomalo, means 'take it easy' in Croatian Dalmatia region's slang, is the latest addition to the Burek/Barba family.

A 12" by CL Dawkins titled 'Affirmation Of Love' comes as a wonderful postcard from Detroit. Written and produced by Alex Israel, remixed by Amp Fiddler, and with a vocal contribution by Lavell Williams, the record features three different generations of Detroit artists.

Alex Israel, here debuting his CL Dawkins moniker, is a mechanical engineer and synth aficionado with a deep respect for soul music. 
Since 2011, Alex has released a string of successful releases under his real name on labels such as Creme Organization, Stilove4music, Night Gallery and W.T. Records.

In tune with the mood and title of the label, Alex delivers two mid-tempo jams which are hard to ignore. 'Affirmation Of Love' is a soulful tune that works equally as the last song of the night, in your living room, or at a boat party. 
Mr. Williams, whose vocals envelop the song, is vice president of the Detroit Sound Conservancy, an organisation deeply involved with Detroit's musical heritage education.

CL's second tune on the record is 'Blue Falconry', an instrumental with a subtle synth line reminiscent of Alex's previous work threading through the whole length.

Finally, Amp Fiddler contributes his take on the vocal cut. Fiddler's career connects the worlds of George Clinton, Sly and Robbie, Prince, and Brand New Heavies to artists like Moodymann, J Dilla, Theo Parrish, and A Tribe Called Quest. 
A one-man musical hub, and an artist whose impressive biography would take up more space than we have here, spins the title with a dancefloor edge while retaining all the things we love about the original, a soulful Detroit house take that leaves a lasting impression...

Secret Crunch is a label fresh out of the oven run by fellow Vienna-based artists Roman Rauch and Moony Me. 
Both musically rooted in HipHop, Soul, Funk and Disco and expressing themselves mainly through House Music, it was just a matter of time until they first collaborated together. Thoughts about releasing their output together through an own label came naturally soon after.
The first release of Secret Crunch is a pure collaboration between them plus two additional remixes – one by Gnork and another by Medlar & Ishmael.

Disco Segreta announces DS M 006 official repress of 1984 italo-boogie track “Tobago” by Pat&Pats.

Ever dreamt to travel to Trinidad&Tobago? 
Disco Segreta makes this dream come true with its 6th release: the much awaited officially licensed reissue of this tropicalo-disco synth bass boogie atomic bomb, from the original analog masters.

Written in late 1983 by Mario Baldoni aka Miro (of “Real Life Games” LP (1977) and Brina’s “Stranamore” (1984) 7” fame), was originally released in July 1984 on the small Pineapple label  – a sublabel of Armando Sciascia’s “Vedette” – with close to no success and a pressing fault: a glitch on the vocal version, that affected all copies.
This tropical summerish blend of italo and boogie, along with the male/female alternate spanish/english singing, turned into a true classic of the genre over the years, slowly making the playlists of the most respected DJs and diggers worldwide. 

The 4-tracks 12" features the original vocal and instrumental versions in their original lenght, carefully dubbed from the analog stereo masters and taken back to new life through Disco Segreta’s usual respectful mastering. Also, two new remixes are featured.

“Miro’s Piano Paradise” on A2, is the truly unique chance of a new revamped version by the track original author, resulting in a balearic-infused mellow rework, inspired to 1989-1993 italian house era, whose key elements were – among others - repeated melodic piano chord progressions alongside lustful female vocals and the blueprint factory presets sounds of the likes of KORG M1, Roland TB-909, and D50.
Flipside sees on B2 the chiefs of Berlin’s “Oscillator” and “Dancing for Mental Health” parties, Tom Bolas & Andrea Dama, working with their “Bolas&Dama Dub”, a contemporary rendition of a possible “Dub” version of Tobago.

Back with his third EP for Dave Harvey’s forward thinking Futureboogie label, Kiwi serves up three pulsating jams on ‘Charlie’s New Vision’, backed with a remix from Johnny Aux. 

Drawing upon his many influences across the house/disco/funk spectrum, South London based Kiwi has been illuminating the more discerning dancefloors of late with a strong of releases for Cin Cin, Needwant and his own new label venture, Crossbreed. 

A low-slung groove is explored on ‘Charlie’s New Vision’, incorporating tripped out film dialogue, bleeps and dubby tones, and a serpentine bass riff, all forging an off kilter yet infectious & hedonistic chugger. 
Johnny Aux follows up recent appearances on Man Power’s Me Me Me, Party Central, and Multi Culti with his own take on the lead track. Churning over a bleepy and epically transcendental remix of the highest order, this is the stuff of sunrises and enlightening moments! 

The sprightly ‘Ghiaccio’ draws together a kaleidoscopic array of opulent synth melodies with an compelling rhythm, whilst ‘Italian Heat’ doffs its cap heartily to the Italo disco choons of yore that always strikes a potent chord to this day.

DJ Don Carlos (born Carlo Troja, from Varese-Italy) with his productions in the 90s has become one of the cult producers for DJs around the world.
His track Alone released in 1991 for Calypso (under the Irma Records label) was and still is one of the classics of House Music, played by all the major American and British DJs.
At the time of its publication it was considered an underground song and therefore did not sell very much, but over the years its myth has grown thanks to its subsequent productions as for example his second single, the EP entitled Mediterraneo, title which it will then inspired his first CD album printed in the USA with the same title.
Several other singles followed, another album, always printed only in the USA, entitled Aqua, from which a triple promo vinyl was extracted which today is one of the artist's most requested rarities.

Kompleks or Lüle aka Bojan Gajic is present on club scene since 1999. As a DJ,
producer, live act, one-man show, the duo, radio host...

Currently, he is working under alias Kompleks, a project created back in
2007, alongside Nebojša Bogdanovic (Schwabe). They are known for
their edits, as well as live performances.
A few years ago, Schwabe "step out" from the project, so now is Kompleks = Lüle.
So far, Kompleks released 13 vinyls, and a large number of digital releases.

Among a lot of ex-Yugoslavian edits, releases for The Very Polish Cut-Outs and Good Plus record label, he is very proud of the collaboration with Theo Parrish, later released on Far Out Recordings as limited edition "12” vinyl.
