Mixtortion is an up and coming 20 year old artist from Sydney, Australia. He discovered and started rapping at the age of 9, speaking on personal topics and the way he viewed the world. Finding himself bored of making similar sounding songs, his music incorporates sounds all the way from hip-hop and pop punk to alternative rock and hyperpop.

The name "Mixtortion" originates from the word "distortion", as that is the way he feels in today's world. Constantly feeling as if he doesn’t fit in, his music reflects a lost boy, disconnected from a dark place everyone else seems to be so comfortable in. The term "Mix" refers to how Mixtortion mixes music into his life and how it’s impacted him, allowing him to take control of his life and future in a therapeutic manner.

Mixtortion draws inspiration from the vulnerability and artistic styles of artists such as Jake Hill, Sueco, Glaive, Powfu, Joji, The Kid LAROI, Zac Greer, and Aries, just to name a few. Mixtortion claims that his music cannot be categorised into one genre, but rather a set of songs all uniquely inspired from a variety of different sounds and vibes with Mixtortion's own little twist on it.
