Guess who went back to their roots a little bit on this one?  STORY TIME: Trap was basically what got me into producing electronic music (RL Grime's HARD Summer 2015 IYKYK) and I was laying down one the other night with this Mau P stuckkkkk in my brain and out of nowhere the idea for that first drop came to me.  If you've been around long enough you'll definitely get the reference but it felt SO. DAMN. GOOD. to lead with a trap drop again.

I'll always have a place in my heart for trap and hopefully I can be a part of it's resurgence with my cool little Trap/Tech House hybrid genre I've been producing lately.  As always, scoop the free download, bump the original and support Mau P and have fun with it!

⚠️Long caption incoming ⚠️ Let’s get this out of the way early: I no longer f*** with whatever hollow shell of a man Kanye West is in 2025. His entire persona now is hate and I can’t find any room for him in my life anymore. If you want to skip this one, I don’t blame you.

With that said, in 2016 when TLOP came out, this song was so, so, so special to me. I remember watching the premier alone in a theatre and just in awe of my favorite artist and the albums he was able to put together. He always represented the artist I wanted to be, proud, unashamed of his strangeness, and full of a pride that I wasn’t able to access back then.

After the last few years it’s been like watching your favorite artist of all time die a slow death but I’ve decided that I’m keeping this song for myself. I always used to say this song was the last song I would listen to before I died if I had a choice. This will probably be the last Kanye West song that I ever touch, and maybe this is just my way to say goodbye.
