This EP is dedicated to the memory of an artist who made the first impact in my life musically as I remember vividly. I have happy memories of my mom going shopping and taking me along, and she would go crazy when La Bouche came on the store speakers lolz. She would lip sync the lyrics identically and make believe she was the pop star. Thats where I learned how to be a fan. We would visit my aunt and my female cousins, which I mentioned in "Forget", and they would all mimic the late singers poses and gestures as they watched her videos and played her music loud. I was just a little kid soaking it all in. Today, many people wont get to hear or enjoy her greatness like I did as a youngster, which is why I was inspired to make this project and allow La Bouche’s voice to live on through the latest urban evolution of pop music which is vastly consumed by this generation of listeners. Enjoy energetic and nostalgic samples of La Bouche biggest house music hits, infused with the modern drill sounds of Jersey Club, and topped with romantic-drama rap and r&b vibes.
