For this FOAD show, FridaY @fridayinveins invited the legend of UK breakbeat scene, an interdisciplinary musical experimenter relentlessly pushing the boundaries of electronic music and last but not least, a Catalyst music teacher - Christopher Jarman better known as Kamikaze Space Programme @kamikaze-space-programme and Raiden.
We covered Christopher’s music roots, various music eras he’s been an integral part of and his endeavours as a musician, using a plethora of techniques, yet always focusing on the end result.

Platinum DJ and producer HUGEL returns to Defected Records alongside tech house riser Deron for ‘Coge El Paso’ featuring La Payara. With HUGEL’s empowering Latin house sound amassing over one billion streams worldwide and topping the Beatport chart, 2024 saw the Pacha Ibiza resident debut on London label Defected with ‘La Verdolaga’, enlisting the help of iconic artist Tóto La Momposina. HUGEL returns in 2025 to deliver another fiery club cut, this time alongside Ibiza favourite Deron, a rising DJ and producer whose hard-hitting tech house style has seen him perform at some of the best clubs globally. Featuring Colombia’s La Payara, an artist blending ancestral influences with modern production techniques to create spiritual electronic music, ‘Coge El Paso’ is an explosive house heater brimming with energy and culture that is certain to set festival and club floors alight.
