After a long hiatus, dsev music is back with a sweet 2 track EP featuring the lovely vocals of Darlene DeVore. Luscious vocals, a catchy melody and high energy beats in both tracks for a solid funky jackin House sound. Both tracks deftly strike a fine balance between nu classic and contemporary jackin house. The original version includes a pulsating beat, while chord riffs and a understated melodic keys provide a high energy yet subtle movement throughout the track. The G-Mix provides a re-interpretation of the vocals gently weaving a catchy hook with groovy guitar riffs and a melodic bass line all come nicely together with just a touch of disco to put a fine polish on the track.
