Back with a second installment of their exploratory collaboration “Curiosity” this week is Traxx and Shuko, who have created another dozen pieces of synth-infused, space inspired sounds drawn from instruments like the Matrix 6, Prophet 10, Prophet 6, Juno 106, Prophet X , Polybrute, OB-6, Neve 1073, Siel - Cruise, Prophet 600, Moog Voyager, & a Moog Subphatty.

Since the release of Curiosity Vol 1 Traxx has earned more gold and platinum plaques from his work with French artists like Kalash Crminel, Youssoupha and Lefa, along with production on the Ace Hood single “Free” while Shuko produced tracks on Donda by Kanye West and 1176 by Guapdad 4000.  

Together they have brought the best of their abilities to the Curiosity series, each one pushing the sounds of the other into unexplored territory, leaving enough sonic room for others to push the tracks even further.

This week’s we have the 3rd installment of Jules’ Rarely series. Known for his tasteful, sophisticated instrumentation and musicality, these fifteen tracks contain a healthy blend of guitars, keys, synths and vocals woven through a musical world where Jules’ abilities with effects and editing elevate the character of each piece. BPM’s range from 73 to 147 with a wide variety of styles.

Since his first release with Kingsway in 2021 Jules continues to push himself into unexplored territory, and here on this third release the balance between familiar and foreign sounds is found effortlessly. We hope you find lots to work with!

This week we have an exciting debut from up and coming Toronto producer, GBYHRVY. Imaginative and exploratory, this volume was assembled over six intense months as she mentored with fellow Kingsway alumni CVRE, learning and sharpening her skills while honing in on the arrangement and composition of each piece, driven to create music that would challenge others to chop, edit and manipulate her ideas and mold theme into something new.

With tempos from 75bpm to 150bpm and a wide variety of gear like a Wurlitzer, Nord Stage 2, Dave Smith Prophet 12, Moog Voyageur OS, Roland Space Echo, Juno 10, live vocals and other sounds there’s lots of time to be spent in the world Gaby has created here.

The Kingsway Music Library is a boutique sample library created and curated by Grammy-Award winning producer Frank Dukes. Initially a place for Dukes to release volumes of his own compositions that were then sampled by many producers and artists on many pinnacle songs of the last decade, it grew to include compositions and releases from many young up and coming producers such as CVRE, FORTHENIGHT, Mino, Louis Bell, Wallis Lane, Allen Ritter and others.
