King Wave & Vise - Hol' Up

Sibonginhlanhla Anele Ngubane whose better known by his music pseudonym S.A.N (Taste) is a self taught Producer/Composer/ Remixer from an area named Newlands East, in the city of Durban which is based in South Africa. He started composing music in the year 2009 whilst he was still in high school, inspired by the likes of: Rocco, Blackwhole, Jimpster etc.. just to name a few whom dominated the House Music scene in those years. S.A.N is a solo artist whom started releasing his music in 2012 and was formerly signed under E-Sole Records (S.A) & has a number of releases under his name which consists of three EP’s and a number of singles and remixes all released under various record labels. To name a few record labels we can include: Cultured Records, 6996 Music, Infant Soul Productions, Soul Shift Music, UM Recordings, Tainted House and Deep Afrika Records.
S.A.N has worked with the likes of BlacStim (S.A), King Wave(S.A), Who De Warrior (S.A), Cue Master (S.A), Urban Musique (S.A) and Soulpoizen (S.A), whom are all well known underground producers in the South African House Music scene for their creativity and dope beats. Being in the game for only a few years he’s made quite a name for himself in a short space of time and also recently got airplay on Gagasi FM which is a radio station based in Durban, his tracks were featured on a show titled “Jam Avenue” which airs on Sunday’s from 6 PM to 10 PM hosted by Mario and Dj LeSoul. He was featured on  “Sell Yourself” and two of his tracks (which are remixes) were played which are titled C.A Soul Projects ft. Mimie- Joy (BlacStim & S.A.N's Deeper Taste) and Given Mukwevho & RocCity feat. Ms Kuda- Eny'indawo (S.A.N's Deep Taste), with “Joy” being released under Audio Jazz Records. These two songs are club bangers consisting of unique elements and melodies which the people love a lot and the vocals just add a nice vibrant feeling to that which are sung by two very talented Local vocalists.
S.A.N has did & still does a variety of House Music sub Genres such as: Soulful, Deep, Afro, Broken Beats/Nu-Jazz, Down Tempo etc… & he has his own types of styles developed from being able to master all these sub genres just to name a few of his styles(he refers to as “Taste”):Raw-Tech-which is a mixture of Electro & Afro  beats with more of his uniqueness of rare Synths, Leads & Tremendous Melodies, Liquidated- which is broken beats riding on Deep Tech synths and leads harmonized by deep melodies, Jazz Tonic- which is Nu-Jazz filled with lot of melodies and a ditch/bridge which is a Walking Jazz type of beat. Most of these styles aren’t released as yet on projects but there are samples available on his Soundcloud page.
Striving to work hard as a Producer/Composer/Remixer S.A.N is determined to put all his effort on his music so that it can be recognized Worldwide & enjoyed by House Music fans across the Universe.
