Frohes Neues ihr Lieben 🍾🥂! Nach drei Jahren Podcast-Pause (wir waren "leicht" eingespannt, weil wir Hermann Görings altes Jagdschloss zu einer fantastischen 🌈 Kultur- und Begegnungsstätte umgebaut haben) starten wir ohne Umwege mit dem Revival unseres Laissez-Fairecasts ins Jahr 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣5️⃣ und begrüßen in unserer 30. Folge heute @feliksfeliks aus Berlin 🎉.

🔸Feliks, schön, dass Du heute bei uns bist. Was begeistert Dich am meisten am Auflegen?
Am meisten begeistert mich am Auflegen, dass ich für eine Vielzahl von Menschen eine musikalische Reise kreieren kann. Dabei bin ich hinter Decks immer mein eigener Dompteur in der Manege und jedes Mal aufs Neue beeindruckt, was für unfassbar gute Tracks die jeweiligen Artists produzieren.

🔸 Hast Du eine persönliche Herangehensweise wenn Du ein Set planst?
Bei meinen Sets lasse ich mich immer von meiner aktuellen Stimmung und Umgebung treiben. Häufig inspirieren mich auch Sets von anderen Künstlerinnen oder Künstlern.

🔸 Hast Du einen persönlichen Lieblingstrack im Set?
Keinen der von mir ausgewählten Tracks würde ich herausheben, da ich sie nicht verwendet hätte, wenn sie mich nicht catchen würden. Meiner Meinung nach haben alle ihre Berechtigung für ein breites Auditorium.

🔸Wie geht es bei Dir weiter im musikalischen Bereich?
Persönlich möchte ich mich aktuell im Bereich meiner eigenen Produktionen weiterentwickeln, diese finalisieren und unter möglichst viele Hörer:innen bringen. Weiterhin hoffe ich und wünsche mir, dass ich in diesem Jahr als Artist ein Teil von beeindruckenden Events sein darf, mir die besten Menschen über den Weg laufen und viele tolle Momente auf mich warten.

After delivering an electrifying remix of Folgar & Chumbita’s Meltdown in late 2024, Portuguese producer Vini Pistori returns to Kiosk ID with the ‘Life EP ’—a four-track release that threads technical sophistication and suspended emotion into a sprawling brand of hypnotic, floor-focused energy. Drawing on personal memory, the Life EP reads like an audio diary—intensely textured, lushly composed, and grounded in a powerfully human sonic philosophy.

‘The Green Tree’ is a lush, atmospheric groover. Built around a lively bassline and rustling found-sound percussion, the opener progressively transforms quivering pulses and wondersome chord progressions into a melodic flurry of energy, ever sharper and more electric. Named after a beloved tree in his partner’s family home, The Green Tree quietly pulses with emotional gravity—lush, alive, and becoming.

‘Underneath Waters’ dives into a shimmering ocean of resonant percussion and ethereal melody. Anchoring the track with a stripped-down, effective groove, Vini Pistori channels an orchestra of soft, echoing bells and otherworldly whale calls. Melancholic and beautifully vibrant, Underneath Waters delivers a throbbing groover that supercharges the listener's imagination.

With ‘Tenebroso’, Pistori ventures into darker territory. Taut and industrial, the track pulses with mangled bells, eerie LFOs, and nightmarish synth flickers. Darkly oscillating across tightly wound, cerebral groove structures, ‘Tenebroso’ unfolds a masterclass on the interplay of tension and relief.

On the closing track, ‘Relief,’ Pistori fully opens the emotional aperture. A carpet of oscillating saws glides warmly across shaker-led percussion and softly rolling toms. Bursting with hope and clarity, Relief is a deep sonic exhale—a shimmering anthem of presence, peace, and letting go.

Across the Life EP, Vini Pistori fuses organic and synthetic textures, weaving deeply personal stories into immersive and highly danceable soundscapes.
